A Few Resources for Financial Aid (not all aid is available to all programs of study)

• Federal Pell Grant
• State of Illinois MAP Grant
• Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
• Urban League (Central Illinois – (217) 528-0895 Ext. 1314)
• County and local government grant or scholarship programs
• Charitable or private organization grant or scholarship programs
• Scholarships
• Illinois 529 College Savings Plan (Bright Start® or College Illinois!®)
• Federal Direct Student Loans – All students interested in taking out a Federal Direct Student Loan for school need to complete a FAFSA®  and the following:
  • MPN (Master Promissory Note)- This can be done at studentaid.gov
  • Entrance Counseling – This also can be completed at studentaid.gov
• Federal Parent PLUS loan (parent of the student attending college) - Parent of the dependent CACC student can apply at studenaid.gov
• Private Student Loans (your bank, credit union, or student loan company, etc.)
